Flooring
Longleaf Pine is still our speciality, but we now offer Ash! We also offer a choice of straight/square edge or microbevel (eased edge)!
Pine Flooring
Our Mill Run, New Heart Pine Flooring 5 1/2" or 6 1/2" is only $2.10 per square foot!

Why our Pine Flooring would be a great complement to your home..
First of all, not all pine flooring is created equal. Some species of pine are not suitable to make flooring (too soft, no heart or bad grain). Just because it says Southern Yellow Pine doesn't make it good enough. Southern Yellow Pine is a general term meaning all pine grown in the south. Our flooring is manufactured from old growth Longleaf Pine, which has a significant amount of heart. This pine is much harder than the rest. The premium cuts are toward the center (heart) of the tree. Cabin grade is cut from the outside (sap) of the tree and from boards with less desirable knots. These floors will last for generations and can be refinished time after time. This is the difference between real wood floors and engineered/laminate flooring. Engineered floors are temporary. If they become marred, you replace them. True wood flooring is the best choice. I hope this has been informative and that you choose to go with us!

All of our Pine is kiln dried, tongue and groove with a back relief. It is milled 3/4" thick, 3 1/2" - 6 1/2" wide, in random lengths 3' - 16' long. We offer straight/square edge or microbevel (eased edge). Microbevel does not require machine sanding. Just a light sanding between finishing is all that is necessary. Our Pine is available quarter/rift sawn, Mill Run or Cabin Grade. We do not end match our flooring. It is not necessary to end match long wide planks.

Ash
Ash Flooring is $2 per square foot!
We started running Ash because some of our customers did not like the rich color of our New Heart Pine Flooring. We did not want oak, we wanted something different. Ash has been used in baseball bats, empliment handels and furniture. It is very hard and durable. It is very light and bright with some mineral streaks. It actuually resembles hickory or pecan. It has a beautiful grain and takes stain very well.

Our Ash is kiln dried. It is available in widths from 3 1/2" - 6 1/2" and random lengths 3' - 8'. It is 3/4" thick with a back relief. We can mill it with a straight edge (eased edge) or microbevel.

Ash Flooring (Stained) Ash is also on walls, ceiling & molding unstained
